"Our stay at Quinta de La Rosa was absolutely perfect. First of all, the property is beautiful. The rooms are large and have everything you need, including complimentary craft beers. The restaurant was one of the best we had in Portugal with the best red wine I’ve had. Their complimentary breakfast was also amazing. We had to leave early before breakfast on our last day and they offered to give us take home breakfast which I’ve never experienced at any other hotel. 13/10 would definitely recommend!"

The rooms and common areas are picturesque and should be visited by Arch Digest. Well appointed and furnished to relax the mind. The staff is top notch. Not too assertive but very attentive and respectful. The restaurant options have a nice variety from bar to Michelin. This is what you want. A kitchen that can provide delicious bites on the go and the more exquisite dishes for that special moment. We personally, loved the breakfast and infinity pool in the mornings, property amenities during the day (gym, vineyard, spa), and bar/restaurant options in the evening. A beautiful oasis to call home base if you are looking to stay put in Douro valley or venture out into the countryside. ~ Cheers."

A car is required to get to the hotel, although I didn’t partake in any of the spa it did look amazing - the pool and the drinks are amazing - the breakfast is amazing where you can sit on the terrace - the restaurant offers good food although I thought it was a bit too much and overly fancy for nothing - and the taste wasn’t really there.
