"Very nice hotel.only complaint was there was rowdy and wild kids in the pool, throwing footballs hitting a family member. Drinking in the pool area. The worker did say something about the football incident to the family that was throwing it "

"The room was large, clean, and well furnished. We were able to get adjoining rooms with our daughter and her kids for a fun time in Des Moines. We arrived on Friday and we were able to park in the lot next to the hotel. It was only about half full and the spaces were large enough. The only difficulty was figuring out what to enter and where to enter it when we entered the lot the first time. Place the room key card against the flat pad. Don't try to put it in the slot like we did the first time. Of course, it would have been better if parking was not an additional $30 per day."

"We were in Ames for a dance competition this weekend. The staff was incredibly polite and responsive to any questions we had. Convenient location near the highway, not far from restaurants and entertainment. The hotel was comfortable with a very nice pool area! Our family had a wonderful time. "

"The only issue I had was with the slides. The rules on what life jacket to wear wasn’t posted anywhere. My son went down one slide with a life jacket and the second time was told he couldn’t wear that one. He had to wear one that buckled in the back not in the front. The rules weren’t posted on the life jackets. "

"Modern hotel with all the perks. Decor was fun and unique. Breakfast was very complete. Although we didn’t use it, the lounge looked nice. Sink was outside toilet area, which is helpful. "
