Chattanooga is an excellent stay for the arts and for children. Right in town is the children's museum, the aquarium, the public library, a climbing wall - all within walking distance of The Read House. Art museums, dining, music, walking bridge ...

Very surprised at what Chattanooga had to offer during the overnight stop on our road trip. We visited Rock City Gardens, Ruby Falls and, of course, the famous choo choo before heading off again. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Chattanooga.

Rock City was an amazing place to visit. We have been there several times in the past but it has been at least 6 years and it seems better than I remember it being. There a lot of places to just sit and watch people and rest on hot days.

Plenty of great restaurants! Parking is pretty easy, but we just walked from our hotel. The river walk is lovely, the aquarium takes almost a whole day to visit, other attractions, like the incline are small but fun to do.
