My first time in Marrakech. If you have time I recommend getting a hammam and finding a tour to the Atlas Mountains and hike around Imlil. A great contrast to the medina. Explore the new town. Get lost in the souks.See Ben Youssef and Secret Garden

Marrakech is not for the faint hearted. But if you enjoy the hustle & bustle of the traditional & vibrant Medina district and embrace the culture, food & street life you will have a time fab. Book a 'free' walking tour online - to get your bearings.

It seems a bit spooky and intimidating at first in the complex maze of streets and alleys in the Medina, but if you are willing to walk a lot and familiarize yourself with the haggling culture, you feel safe very quickly and you'll have a blast.

It's changed a lot since I last visited in 2010 but still a fantastic place for a city break, you cannot fail to be mesmerised by the sights and sounds of the Medina and the numerous places to visit. Just be prepared to bargain hard in the souls!

Marrakech is a bustling city that comes alive at night. The people are friendly, welcoming. Bring your most comfortable shoes & get ready for long walks. We averaged 6mi per day. August is overwhelmingly hot, consider coming in spring or fall.

A city of 2 parts. Within the Medina it is very traditional but step outside and it is like lots of other cities with the usual shops and fast food restaurants. We also travelled to the Atlas Mountains for a day away from the hustle and bustle.

At first, Marrakech was quite overwhelming, but it has gradually won us over. The city is a vibrant hub of activity, filled with kind people and countless attractions. If you have the time, be sure to explore the surrounding areas as well.

Eden Andalou Aquapark & Spa

"We were very fortunate to finally stay at Eden Andalou for 12 nights Jun/Jul after having to cancel our holiday in 2023 due to the earthquake. The location of the hotel only 9.5km from airport is perfect and only 10.5km to the centre of Marrakesh.
We booked through Hotels.com and booked our flights directly with EasyJet. We emailed the hotel regarding room allocation and airport transfer and in all instances they were very responsive resulting in a very efficient transfer from airport and two rooms allocated to us which were next immediately adjacent.
The hotel itself is lovely and well laid out and in our opinion is not 5 star but would rate it 4 star due to the finish & some areas could def do with some refurb and the carpet outside our room was torn and tatty and not a gd look. Everything was always so clean and the bed & pillows were so comfortable although our son didn’t like the additional bed which he found uncomfortable but just a little tlc is required and things like no hand drier in the ladies and no towels to dry your hands was little things that have ob been overlooked.
What makes it 5*+ for us is the staff, who in the majority go above and beyond to make sure that you are treated like royalty and they are so hard working, attentive, friendly, helpful and are a credit to company. The other thing that makes this hotel stand out is the food and restaurant set up, first class and in all the holidays we have enjoyed, this hotel was outstanding with such a f"
"We had such a lovely stay at Oberoi! Staff are exceptional, the kids club is amazing, the restaurants have such nice meals and the swimming pools were amazing.
I will be definitely coming back.
I never went to a place that I slept so soundly, ate so well, swam, relaxed and worked out.
The hamam bath was the best ever!"
"Something out of a dream! La Mamounia was a recommendation from a dear friend, but it is easy to know you will be arriving to paradise after reading reviews of this historical property. Flawless luxury and the highest level of service at every turn. One of the most fabulous properties we have ever stayed in the world. We will be back!"
"Extremely charming hotel, very well furnished and decorated. The 3 floors are a continuos discovery of nice corners
Super warm welcome from the staff, with bottomless maroccan tea and sweet almonds.
Plenty of clarification were given to us, from city "MUST SEE" spots to negotiation techniques. light and customisable breakfast was served on the stunnig terrace at 3rd floor. Room and bathroom were super clean and bed extremely"
"We chose FS Marrakech for location and security. It did not disappoint. The level of service by every staff member we encountered was extraordinary. We will not soon forget our experience here. Special thank you and shout out to Hajar. She went above and beyond! She set up our private tours, transfers, and even hotel recommendations in Tangier. No request was too much for all the staff there. An extraordinary level of hospitality!"
"Beautiful 5 star property. All staff were amazing especially Sarah who checked us in the hotel efficiently. Sarah was amazing and helped us check in at 12:00 when our check in was supposed to be at 15:00. All facilities were amazing including pools , rooms and breakfast buffet . So much variety for everyone to choose from . Will definitely be coming back to Marrakech just for Savoy Le Grande Hotel !"
"This hotel and staff were remarkable. Had 4 day stay staff and vicinity was beautiful surrounding shopping places. Easy diner. It was a wow moment. Hotel itself and friendly staff highly recommend 10/10. Will visit again 100%. "
