Beautiful, comfortable resort

Hyatt Regency Maui was beautiful and the staff were friendly and kind. The food — even the pool service— was fresh and good, and we especially liked the breakfast and Japengo. We were 6 adults, so appreciated that we were able to use the Vacation Club for their adult pools and hot tub, as there were many children in the hotel pool. The beach was quite thin and “cabanas” pricey—also pickleball equipment was very beginner quality… bring your own if you plan to play a lot! Yes, we recommend staying here!

Ok hotel but beach is not ideal.

This is not the best location in the area. If you are like us and trying to decide between the Hyatt and the Westin, choose the Westin!! The restaurants have more availability and are all great! The Westin is also located in a much more convenient area to tours and activities and the beach is much better for swimming. The Hyatt beach is very narrow and there is absolutely no assistance in beach set ups. The pools are very crowded and very loud. Construction probably made our trip more frustrating but overall this just doesn’t feel like a Hyatt Regency level hotel.

Everyone was very kind from beginning to end. The rooms were very nice and clean. Very comfortable and convenient to access other hotels and restaurants in the area. Very lovely and we will be back!!

This place was more like a Palace than a Hotel. The 30 acre property has so many things to do. All the food was excellent. The drinks were great. The spa, Laua and swan gardens are unreal!
