Great hotel in the city centre of Hamburg. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Breakfast was delicious. I particularly appreciated the custom made omelette. The pool area and sauna were also very nice. The only downside was that we booked 2 double beds with the expectation they'd be king-size. They were queen-size though. I wish the hotel would have made that clearer when booking.

Really good for family

getaway weekend to Hamborg and choose to stay at Marriot Hotel which we didn’t regret. Breakfast and dinner ( 3 courses) was included which was convenient for us with kids. When we check in they told us that kids was not included for breakfast and dinner which didn’t make sense for us as we did booking for 2 adults and 2 kids so we are expecting that kids has access to same stuff like us. The stuff fixed straight away and we had really nice experience. For the first dinner the restaurant has planned 3 courses for us and kids and second day we could pick by us self from menu as we didn’t want to eat the same like yesterday. We had really nice service from Arian. The pool area was okay but we missed stuff around to take care of guests and make sure that all visitors followed the hygienic rules.

Everything lived up to our expectation. The room was spacious and clean and the staff was excellent. The location couldn´t be better. Only thing I would like to add is a charging for the car in the car park - but all was excellent!

Amazing hotel in the centre of Hamburg

We had an absolutely amazing stay at the Marriott Hamburg. Fantastic place. Excellent service. Great food. Breakfast in all variations also for kids. Pool area was nice with nice towel service. Clean and orderly managed. Service was extraordinary- we would recommend this hotel any time! And are looking forward to coming back!

Top class hotel in the city centre

Top class hotel in a great part of town, close to shops, bars, restaurants and public transport. My only bugbear is the TVs in the bedrooms have a wooden frame around them meaning i couldn't connect my laptop with a HDMI cable to watch Netflix.

Det kunne godt gøres bedre

Very nice staff. Very good breakfast, and very nice and clean rooms. We had chosen the hotel because of the good breakfast, but especially because of the pool and the fitness area. Unfortunately, it fell completely to the ground, as there was no supervision here. Many guests therefore went completely recklessly into the pool and sauna without washing themselves first. So there was no pool or sauna for us. So disgusting. Unfortunately my husband got sick before departure and couldn't come, but my daughter and I kept the room, but tried to get the 32 euros per day back for breakfast, which my husband didn't get. But it wasn't possible. Really bad service.

Great location very near to the Christmas markets and upmarket shops and restaurants. Parking was not included and was expensive (40 euro a day), it took some time to find a space we could park in though it was a busy time. Hotel has a spa / pool in the basement which was viewable from street level if someone made the effort to. Kids liked playing in the pool (there were no restrictions when this could be used by children which some places do have). Water didn’t seem very hot to me but I like my bath/shower scalding. We didn’t try the food but the bar was nice and had a chilled vibe with high quality drinks offering and was popular with guests. Staff were professional and helpful.

Disappointing Stay at Marriott Hamburg

The hotel is going through renovations in certain areas. Our executive room had just been completed and was pristine and very clean. However the normal executive lounge was still being renovated and we were directed to a temporary lounge next to the breakfast area. Unfortunately because this arrangement reduced capacity during breakfast it created long queues during the peak period in the morning and despite the efforts if staff people were eating breakfast in the bar areas and in the temporary executive lounge. I feel the hotel should have advised at the time we booked that renovations were planned during our visit as we may have considered changing the timings if our travels through Germany.

Smadre fælge og ringe service

Fin lokation midt i byen, dog er desværre meget lydt på værelserne, men kan hører alt fra gaden udenfor og fra gangen på hotellet - virkelig ringe “lydisoleret” værelse. Derudover smadre parkeringshjælperen på hotellet to af mine fælge, da han skulle parkere min bil. Blev ikke tilbudt nogen kompensation, udover gratis parkering. Det skal køres over deres forsikring, som jeg nu skal bruge tid på at koordinere. Første dag spiste vi morgenmad i deres konferencelokale da der ikke var plads i deres almindelig restaurant, hvor vi fik en ringere morgenmad end den normale restaurant tilbyder. Alt i alt en virkelig kedelig oplevelse og langt fra vores forventning omkring vores ophold.

Elsker at komme på dette hotel. Har været her flere gange og bliver aldrig skuffet. Sødt personale. Stor ros til den engelske dame i loungen. Hun er så venlig og smilende. Lækre renoveret værelser på 5 etage.

Lækkert centralt hotel

Rigtig fint hotel, som er pænt, rent og indbydende. Morgenmaden er lækker med mulighed for omelet. Poolen brugte vi ikke, da der primært var børn der (måske en ide med børnefrie tidspunkter). Værelset var stort og pænt. Dejlig seng og puder. Hotellet ligger dejlig centralt og tæt på shopping. Eneste minus var at vi kom i elbil og ville lade i p kælderen nedenunder. Det var umiddelbart ikke til via APCOA flow app’en (kreditkort ikke muligt som betaling) og hotellet vidste ikke. Det var først på 3. dagen at nogle hjalp os og fortalte at vi skulle slette app’en, hente den igen og så vælge Tyskland som land. Så kunne vi lade (mod betaling men det er ok).
