Lovely hotel, oozes history

We had a great stay in the Scandic. Lovely hotel with lovely staff. There is real sense of history in this hotel, they have retained the old dining room layouts and decor even though there was a bad fire in the 40s. Excellent breakfast, quiet comfortable room.

Excellent stay, room and amenities were as listed and staff were very friendly. Breakfast was an excellent spread and seating was in a beautiful dining space. Molde jazz festival was in full swing and VERY loud but was outside the property. If not for the event, the stay would have been peaceful. This is not a detractor for the hotel, but be mindful to check local events when booking.

Mycket trevligt hotell!

Vi (familj på fyra vuxna) bodde tre nätter i en master svit. Funkade hur bra som helst. Bäddsoffan i vardagsrummet hade dock sett sina bästa dagar och var rätt utsliten. Gnisslade och lutade in mot mitten men var hanterbart. Frukosten var fantastisk! Iskaffe, mycket frukt och många olika sorters bröd och pålägg att välja mellan. Tyvärr var inte frukosten ett tillval en i familjen som har problem med olika mat hittade ingenting att äta. Det ska ändras efter sommaren fick vi veta då frukost blir ett tillval. Fantastisk utsikt från rummet och mycket båtaktivitet precis utanför. Balkongerna behöver fräschas upp då de kändes väldigt nedgångna och slitna. Över lag ett mycket trevligt hotell som är lugnt och stilla med världens finaste utsikt (om vädret tillåter). Skulle definitivt bo där igen!

Slitt hotell med støy fra traffikert vei og gågate. Ingen air condition så det ble varmt. Sengene var ikke spesielt imponerende. God frokost.

Eneste som var negativt på rommet var ingen kjøleskap,ingen vannkoker med mulighet for kaffi/te. Ekstremt varmt på natten,ingen aircondition....kunne ikke late opp vinduet pga støy/biler. Personalet, frokost og renhold var supert :)
