It is in a pretty setting, the village is beautiful, the location is not the easiest with one bus trip per hour but the service was spectacular! Our only regret was that there was a problem with the hot water for the showers a few of the days. But the customer service and breakfast and dinner buffets helped us to forget any inconveniences we experienced. I would love to go back and stay on vacation.

This is a hotel on the external highway ring of Hamburg so convenient if you need to stop on your way to other locations. It’s quite old and without air conditioning, which at a the time of our stay in August was an issue. We had to keep the window open so we heard all the noises from the highway. We also used a very old-fashioned ventilator - which did not help much. Breakfast is average. Parking slot has a fee.

Not what I expected.. I paid for a double comfort room, at first they put me in a disabled room, I complained and they moved me to a room with 2 single beds. Over priced and totally out of the way, nothing near. I even got charged for a car which I never had. Never again

Falsely misleading room, disrespect Expedia

The comfort triple is falsely misleading, with a double bed, plus a sofa bed lying low, unfit for elder people. Our request to have a room on the 2nd or 3rd floor was intentionally ignored, assigning us a first level room. We wanted a quiet room, instead our room faces to the side where main highway traffic gives constant noise throughout the night. Apart from these, the hotel itself is not upto the 4-star category. The facilities are dated. There are no amenities in the room. Even toothbrush and razers have to be purchased.

Solides Hotel, aber laute Zimmer zur Autobahn

Hotel liegt verkehrsgünstig an der A1 nach HH, das ist allerdings auch das Problem, weil man die Fenster nicht offen oder gekippt lassen kann, weil es dann einfach viel zu laut ist, jedenfalls bei den Zimmern, die zur Autobahn zeigen. Es fehlte auch ein zweiter Nachtschrank neben unserem Bett. Das würde aber so zum Zimmerkonzept gehören, wie wir beim Check-out erfuhren. Ansonsten ein solides Zimmer mit sehr guter Matratze. Ein Kühlschrank war auch leider nicht im Zimmer. Frühstück sehr gut und reichhaltig.

Förutom cigarettdoften

Gammalt rum som luktade unken cigarettrök. Även taskig ventilation och inte möjligt att dra ner värmen. Sängmadrassen var nedlegad, låg i en grop. Vi hade inte fattat att det tillkom 8 Euro för en natts parkering och 15 Euro för hunden. Valde hotellet för att det var hyggligt i pris och längs vägen. (Valde bort andra.) Bra för att släppa hunden lös och busa på andra sidan vallen på baksidan. Trevlig personal. Kunde äta i middag (deras pizza) i baren med hunden - bra. Bra frukost. Trist inredning och design, och även hemsk utemiljö - dags att uppdatera.
