Overall a good trip! Really cute castle-like hotel but we found clothing in our room so it makes me doubt the room was actually cleaned!

This was a family trip to St. Louis. We enjoyed our stay at The Cheshire. Our only problem was the breakfast area being extremely small and crowded and the pool only being 4 feet deep. Definitely not a dealbreaker though. Would definitely recommend

The bathroom sink drain was 90% clogged. I don't think anyone has dusted/cleaned the shelf under the sink for months. The view from our room was of a flat roof with mechanicals on it and very dirty. There was a door in our room with access to roof. A small fridge would have been very convenient. Room and hotel itself was clean and pool was very nice.

The room had obviously not been used recently. There was a layer of dust over various surfaces. The refrigerator was dirty.

This hotel has been a go to favorite of ours for years. Our last stay was bad. There was some improvement. Too many issues to list. The Staff is friendly and greets you, but there are big problems beyond. Someone with Hotel & Restaurant Management Training & Experience needs to rework the whole place over. It is a treasure that needs leadership bad. Glad to talk with an owner or GM, if they cared!

Very cute inn with a couple of really fun bars, a Starbucks, and a nice common area. The free breakfast was actually good, and there's a great Vietnamese restaurant next door.

The vibe here is super unique. Much cooler than a chain hotel. Breakfast with FRESH berries?! Unheard of. Had a quick drink/fish and chips at Fox and Hound- reasonably priced and good portion. Chris is so personable!
Shower curtians are due for a change (they were pretty smelly when I took a hot shower) and the curtain behind the bed- how is that kept clean?
Overall, though, recommend for a one of a kind experience.

I’ve stayed here before and enjoyed it. Though on this trip the bathroom lights were hidden behind a rack of towels so I did a lot of in the dark grooming. Lol Love the location. Love the weird vibe. Love the pub. And the Italian restaurant next door was yummy—packed though so make a reservation.
