Good place to do time!

Nice hotel, little bit off the town. Room was nice though understandably quite little due previous use. Slept well, breakfast was just like on any other hotel, except no cappuccino. Strong recommendation for nearby Restaurant Kakolanruusu rather than hotel restaurant!

This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed. Staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Breakfast is amazing: plenty of food choices and Finnish specialties including the Karelian pie (and veggie option of that even). The hotel is modern, clean and tidy, with maintaining a hint of their prison history. The associated part of the building is almost a community: a gym, a spa, bakery, restaurants, shops and a funicular going downhill to the river. Highly recommended, and definitely will stay there when I visit Turku next time.

Huone siisti, rauhallinen, laadukas. Henkilökunta huippua, ystävällistä palvelua joka kohdassa. Hinta -laatusuhde todella hyvä. Tyylillä tehty vankilasta huippuhotelli. Sijainti hienosti kaiken yläpuolella ja kuitenkin lähellä Aurajoen hienoja kävelyreittejä jne.

Upea hotellikokemus

Upeat puitteet pienelle irti otolle arjen keskellä. Hotelli oli hieno ja rakennuksen mielenkiintoinen historia oli tuotu erinomaisesti esille sisustuksessa. Huoneessa yöpyessä tuli miettineeksi, että millaisia vankeja onkaan samassa ”sellissä” maannut :) Huone oli viihtyisä ja todella siisti. Plussaa kahvikone ja hiilihapotuslaite (kahvikonetta tuli käytettyä). Aamiainen oli runsas ja herkullinen. Henkilökunta ystävällistä. Tänne tulen ehdottomasti uudestaan!

Sinällään siisti hotelli, mutta hinta-laatusuhde ei kovin korkea. Huone oli askeettisen kolkko ja värimaailma koko hotellissa ja aamiasalissa likaisen sävyinen. Huoneeseen kuului selvästi juttelu käytävältä. Aamiainen ketjuhotelli tasoa ja osa lämpöaltaista pois päältä, joten ruuat kylmiä. Aamiaishuoneen tarjoilupöydät sijoitettu hölmösti, ruuhkautuu pienellä henkilömäärällä ja tukkii kulkuväylät.

Kylmää kyytiä Turussa

Ulkopinnat ja materiaalit tyylikkäitä mutta paljon epäkohtia. Huone oli TODELLA kylmä, ilmalämpöpumppu puhalti pelkkää kylmää ilmaa säätimen asetuksista riippuen. Kylpyhuone lattialämmitys ei toiminut kokonaan. Respassa kysyttiin että "pärjäättekö?" eikä mitään apua asiaan saatua. Tuohon hintaan pystyä muutakin pärjäämään. Telkkarissa ääni pätki. Kaunis miljöö ja sijainti todella hyvä. Aamiainen ok, hassuti sijoitetut toiminnot. Suihkussa vedenpaine huono. Kiva paikka mutta uusiksi en menisi
