The hotel was adequate for what we needed. Good location. Concierge staff were very helpful. Reception staff were not overly welcoming. Hotel is very tired. In dire need of refurb. Smelly in corridors. Rooms were spacious. Breakfast was good. Buffet lunch was very expensive for quality. Pool area was adequate. Beds were very comfortable.

Location was good. Buffet Breakfast was great. The hotel itself needs upgrading. I was there back in 2015 and it was nice then. However, this trip the hotel looks very run-down and unkept. Was a little disappointed as I took my whole family there thinking it is a nice hotel.

It was a great way to check-in. Ralph Ng was extremely helpful, cheerful, and informative. Having filtered water was plus bonus. The faucet water in the bathroom was very hot, almost impossible to use without burning oneself. The aircon was noisy and somewhat difficult to control. The card to use the elevator was unpredictable and challenging to use. The hotel location was superb and bathroom size is comfortable.

Great location. Easy access to MRT and walking distance to the heart of Chinatown. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. The gym was small, but everything worked, enough to get a good sweat. The pool was great.

OK stay with good breakfast options

The hotel is OK. Reasonably good value, and for the most part we enjoyed our stay. We did however have an issue- the bathroom ventilation system took it upon itself to blow dirt out of the supply grille. It was cleaned up, but reappeared a few hours later. We raised the issue with reception- but nothing was done about it. A shame-if it was rectified promptly I would have been more confident recommending the hotel. On a positive note, the breakfast selection was huge.

Love how easily accessible the area is to other areas. Hotel is a little outdated but price is ok. We got upgraded to executive suite and was glad. Tonnes of food options. Highly recommended for first time travellers to Singapore on a budget
