Fantastic hotel, beautiful location and view, great restaurant and very clean and functional rooms with good water pressure in the shower. Right nextdoor to the hotel is the cable car that you can take to visit both the castle and the city, easy and convenient. We even had a small picnic with a view next to the hotel.

Definitely a place to stay...

We LOVED this hotel. The location ia spectacular. We had a car so this hotel was one of few to offer parking. Getting there was a tiny bit challenging as you have to pay attention to the road signs to not miss the turns. Absolutely worth it.

Gasthof Konigstuhl, Heidelberg

We had a good stay. The staff were nice. The breakfast was excellent. We are dissatisfied regarding the charge for the breakfast. Firstly, I was under the impression that breakfast for 3 was included in our room booking charge. The hotel said no! But they insisted on charging €20 per day for each room i.e. their charge for 2 persons in each room. But we were only 2 adults and 1 child. Very unfair and probably not right. I do feel cheated! Beautiful stay

It was a misty night so the drive to the hotel is challenging. Very warm welcom from the staff member and we were offered a drink. We love the hight, the food at the restaurant, the sauna and overall stay. We will always return on special occasion as Heidelberg local and always recommen to our visitors.
