This is the 4th time we have stayed for a trip to Gatlinburg and like to switch around hotels. We like to stay in close proximity to the strip and this location is nice with only a couple block walk to the strip. The selling point for me on this time around was the awesome pool setup that they have for the younger ones. Note that the trolly system also comes right in front of the hotel which is Free! This is an older hotel like many of the ones in downtown area but was pretty clean and cozy. We did stay in a room that connects to the pool area so it's a little louder during they day but completely tolerable.

The hotel was conveniently located within walking distance of the main street of things to do and places to eat. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The rooms are somewhat dated and a little dingy, though clean. The heat in the hallways to get to our room overlooking the indoor pool was nearly oppressive. All air conditioners vent into the halls and in the dead of summer, it was like a sauna, but our room remained comfortablely cool. Beds were comfortable and showers were adequate. Our daughter really enjoyed the multi-level pool with the waterfall.
