When we first arrived, we were greeted and offered a different room since our room had "small" windows and the new room would have more of a "view." The view was on the first floor, of the outdoor parking lot and had several men, outside smoking, looking into our room. The staff was very understanding and gave us keys to the new room. Turns out the small windows are actually a benefit if you don't want sun beating in when it's warm (the thermostat stays at 19 degrees celsius) and/or you want to sleep in. Finally, we had to find someone to check us out because there wasn't anyone at the front desk. The room itself was lovely. Although, we still find it odd that Ireland bathrooms don't have outlets and the beds only have a blanket (too warm for) and a fitted sheet (no top sheet). The bathroom mirror was designed for tall people but the counter space was large enough for two people to get ready. The shower was AMAZING. Love that they offer free parking and it was a close drive to the Latin Quarters. Because we stayed at several places during our visit to Ireland, I am being very picky. It was not a bad visit but it was not our favorite place to stay.
