Great stay!

This hotel was a very pleasant place to stay. The staff were wonderful, the room was clean and very well appointed, the bed was comfortable, and the shower had great water pressure. It was also very quiet at night and is in a very good area. There was plenty of free parking, a good sized elevator, and brochures of attractions in the area. There is a large room for breakfast and also a cafe next door. I highly recommend it!

Love the hotel and location.

Loved the hotel. Lobby is very welcoming as you enter the front door. Room was nice and clean. Bed comfortable. Only complaint would be the noise of the air conditioner. It’s loud and sounds like you are along a beach with waters hitting the dock. Contintenal breakfast presentation was nice and food good. Troy, the evening hotel representative was very hospitable. No morning representative notice at the desk. We would stay there again if we go the area Great location for Longwood Gardens and Brandywine Museum. .

Our room was lovely and spacious. Some problems were the poor Wi-Fi connections as well as hearing constant noise from the heater and the fan. The breakfast was fine, something for everyone. Cookies in the afternoon were a nice treat! The location is excellent. We would definitely recommend this property and would look to stay when we are back in the area.

This is a good location for visiting the museums and gardens in the area. Our room was a larger suite that was in good condition but the air conditioner sounded like a waterfall non stop and was very loud all night , there's no person at the front desk. We were surprised that the owners were ok renting a room w a unit like that.

Brandywine River Hotel.

A group of four ladies had such a fun time!!! Although an older hotel, the bathroom was updated and the shower had great water pressure. There is a nice sitting area to have a glass of wine. The dining area was open in the evening so we had our pizza delivered and ate there. There is a cute little cafe right next door for a great quick breakfast. The hotel is so close to Brandywine River Museum and Longwood Gardens.

Quiet with great location

Lovely 1night stay while traveling through the area. Front desk staff was super helpful and professional, breakfast in the morning was good and location to battlefields, shopping and restaurants very convenient. Improvement request: exhaust fan in bathroom and AC / fan to move air in room - we were thankful the windows opened.
