The hotel is lovely and good location but check in was late..we couldnt control the temperature in the room..there are many places where you cant avoid stairs and the mini bar has only coca cola and water. The staff is attentive

Deluxe Historic Hotel in a Quiet Area of AMS

I was in AMS for 5 days with my adult daughter. The room we had (superior deluxe twin) was outstanding - so spacious and loved the big tall windows that opened overlooking the canal. The deep bathtub was fantastic as was the breakfast! The sauna and pool were nice, although the hot tub was not working. Overall, terrific!

The hotel was beautiful on the outside, the room was spacious and the bathroom was clean. My biggest concern was that for a 5 star hotel it lacked services such as massages upon request, and the room was 77 degrees and made it very difficult to sleep soundly.
