It was unexpectedly a blast. It's nothing fancy, but it's personable, it's family oriented. Horseshoes, a playground, swimming, grills, a covered picnic area. And a bonfire. We came as strangers and are leaving as friends and will return.

The check-in was quick and the staff was sweet. The room was clean and comfortable. It was a bit smaller than the ones from the chain ones but was still comfortable.

We were right on the mountain, which our goal in picking this place. It was very clean and there were plenty of towels. There was a refrigerator and microwave and a small place to eat. It’s an older place and not very fancy or luxurious, but very peaceful and comfortable. My only complaint is after a long a day of hiking there was not enough hot water for both of us to finish a shower. We would stay here again.
