Made a confirmed booking on Hotels.com. Received a call from the manager on the day to confirm booking. When i arrived at 8pm, the manager had left and was very impolitely told that no rooms were available by the reception. I stated i had booking, and was told "we are full, leave the building". Shpwed proof of booking and payment, but was told "its not my problem".
After a heated argument (15 minutes) the hotel reception called the manager, who stated to reception that i was indeed one of the "full hotel" people, and to give me a room.
My advice.... check in during the day when the manager is on site!!!
