The hardwood floors in the room could have been cleaner. And the bathroom fan didn’t work all the time. Though all and all, a great hotel. Very close to subway stop.

The hotel room itself is immaculate and new. The area outside is very sketchy so I recommend being dropped at the door and picked up. Do not plan to walk around. Very affordable option if you are simply looking for a clean place to stay.

The room was quite small but very clean and well-maintained. We received fresh towels each day during our three-night stay. While I wasn’t a fan of the pedestrians lingering outside the building and there was an occasional odor, the staff was friendly and overall, the experience was decent for the price.

Great stay

I had a wonderful stay at the Melrose. The staff were very personable and helpful. They have a great little lounge on the second floor as I arrived early and was able to wait there for my room. It's pretty close to the metro on 3rd. There's a great nail salon next door as well. Really very few or no cabs in the area if you need unless you call. My room was clean, spacious, came with a mini refer and microwave and was very quiet. I would definitely recommend.
