A very nice hostel close to the city center, metro and services. Breakfast was good but rather compact. The room was clean, beds were comfortable for the price and the staff was nice and helpful.

Great stay in Stockholm

We had a great stay overall. The room and bathroom was spacious, bed was larger than other hotels and bathroom as well, we also had a mini fridge in our room. You have access to a kitchen during your stay, kitchen is well equipped and has lots of storage for food. Breakfast was included as well which was a great bonus for us. The hotel is close to the metro and buses, supermarkets, bars, etc. Also the hotel is a short walk from Stockholm old town. Definitely recommend the hostel.

Good, and great price

Always a nice time at Mosebacke Hostel. The room has all you need - I would’ve perhaps hoped for a slightly more detailed cleaning, the floor was a little dirty and there were some stains and splashes around the furniture. Also the bed headboard did smell funky. Otherwise - tv in the room is a massive plus; felt safe and staff was friendly and professional. Everything worked in the room and sheets were fresh. Many thanks.

Cheap and good!

I stayed for three nights in this hostel and had an overall good experience. The room was with two beds, TV, refrigerator and bathroom. It got what I needed. The bed was sunken in the middle which is bad for the back. That bed would need to be replaced.

This is the first time that I have stayed here and everything was great. I liked the free daily breakfast and my room was lovely. I paid extra to have my own bathroom. There is plenty of dining options near to the hotel and a supermarket just across the road which was handy seen as I had my own fridge in my room and also use of the communal kitchen. I found out that the hop off hop on sightseeing bus runs nearby so I paid for a 72 hour one which included the boat. I went to the Vasa Museum, the Abba Museum and Stockholm City Hall which went passed on the sightseeing bus. I would stay here again the next time I visit Stockholm.

Weekend stay in quadruple room

It's incredible, but i came back to the same place 16 years later. Maybe it was named differently, but it still has a good vibe and it's not onlybused by young students, but also elderly people who stay there for short weekend trips. Nothing super spectacular, but comfortable, cozy and very close to main street and tram station that can take you everywhere in Stockholm. Breakfast is basic but enough to last until lunch. Friendly staff. It's not for everyone because of shared bathroom and toilet, but worked fine for our group of friends. Would surely recommend and would like to come back sooner than in 15 years 😅

Dirty rooms (cobwebs hanging from the ceiling and nasty stains on the wall) Paperthin walls -you can hear everything from the room next door -even follow conversation. Very noisy ventilation -constant noise also at night. Questional standard of hygiene in the kitchen. Eat the breakfast at your own risk!!! Will not return and do not recommend

Vi bode tre personer i ett fyrbÀddsrum med en vÄningssÀng och tvÄ stycken enkel sÀngar och utan fönster. StÀdning ingÄr. Frukost ingÄr. TV finns pÄ rummet. JÀttetrevlig personal :-) . Köket stÀmmer inte överens med bilderna och inte matplatserna heller, men det var helt ok ÀndÄ. Rummen var mindre Àn det sÄg ut som pÄ bilderna. JÀttetrÄngt garage. Parkeringsplatserna följer inte nuvarande rekommenderat mÄtt/utrymme för bilar pÄ 2,2-2,5 meter mellan linjerna, utan Àr anpassade efter 1970-talets smÄ och smala bilar och har ca.2 meter mellan linjerna. Man mÄste nÀstan parkera omlott framför/bakom för att kunna ta sig ut igenom dörren nÀr man har parkerat, sÄ se till att ha med dig en liten och smal bil... eller ingen bil alls ;-) . Dock Àr garaget billigare och mer tillgÀngligt Àn alternativen ute pÄ gatan :-) .
