The first room was terrible. Hot Hotels.com shows all these nice balcony rooms. Then they stick us in this room with the window to the hallway. So we asked for an upgrade and how much it would cost. They told us an extra $10 a night. We said fine which got us a room with a balcony. Great. The shower was absolutely disgusting. It may feel dirty being in the shower. You couldn’t use the safe. The room was just kind of generally dirty. The bed had burn holes in it and a couple of. I’m sure they were dead. Bugs but bugs. I know there’s bugs in tropical countries, but not right after you. Clean the bed. We spent an entire day, searching other hotel rooms to see what we could get Because we were just grossed out by the condition of the hotel. The buffet/restaurant/bar was never open. It was only open for breakfast and then they close the doors at 10:30 and it was in general. Just probably one of the worst hotels I’ve stayed at so far.

Things I didn't like were that the water in the shower kept changing from hot to cold and back every 5 seconds. The water also smelled weird when you first turn it on. I was only given one towel for 2 guests, and there was only one thin bedsheet and not blanket. The AC didn't really cool the room down.

Great if you're into prostitution and drug deals.

Room smells like smoke. AC smells moldy. There's no hot water. The "continental breakfast" is a sandwich and a cup of juice. The area around the hotel is suspicious at best. Witnessed at least three drug deals in a 10 minute window at night, and two the next morning. We chose this as it was closest to the resort we would be staying the next day, but if I had to choose again, I'd just pay the extra day at the Resort. Would not recommend.
