I stayed in the single room on main floor. Very tiny bathroom but functional. Would be tight with 2 people but good for 1. Only room for 1 vehicle so if multiple guests you’ll have to look for parking off site.

Excellent location on a quiet leafy street right next to Yonge. Subway station minutes away. Room itself is small and basic but has everything you need including en suite bathroom. Host left us some snacks and drinks which was a nice touch. Our room had access to a back garden/patio which was a nice space to relax in. Shared kitchen was well stocked with tea and coffee. There's a mini fridge in the room as well.

Really good location, close to subway, quiet, no road noise..was ok for a few nights but no cupboard space for clothes..bed was really comfie but extremely noisey when moving on it, as seems there was an extra wooden base under the mattress..

It was a very comfortable and quiet room in a townhome with a great location in downtown Toronto. There is parking available, which I didn't use, but it is there and all kinds of amenities, a full kitchen, coffee, water, and candy. It was perfectly clean and secure, it's close to the subway and the Eaton Center, and just about every restaurant and store that there is. It's really a perfect place to stay.

I have to say, this experience exceeded all my expectations: (online) communication with Margie was pleasant, precise, and prompt; surprising number amenities were included; location was central and accessible; accommodations were very well-maintained, clean, hospitable, safe and quiet. We even had a charming private terrace in the back. The price was extremely competitive. Would definitely use again. In fact, I can't imagine staying anywhere else in Toronto. Nice upscale hostel in a great neighborhood

First, the Neighborhood: A great place to be, close to the subway, shops, restaurants, and that is primarily why I chose it. The instructions to enter, etc. were clear. My room was very small and the bathroom was tiny. Bed was comfortable and everything was clean. Wifi was mostly good. However I would hesitate to call it a suite as there was a shared kitchen and I could hear the upstairs people walking around. I would call it an upscale hostel but it was a good value in a great neighborhood

This place was surprisingly awesome. Quaint little house. I had the lower room which had a patio to itself. It was so dark there that I had to turn on a light to find the bed (normally, I'd expect light pollution in a huge city). The row houses were gorgeous, the architecture and area are great. You're steps to Yonge and steps to Church, two VERY different experiences, but both excellent in their own right. I will be back. I loved the location, amenities, and ease of in and out. I wore earplugs because I am a late-night person--my only warning is that you do the same unless you'd want to be woken up by morning larks futzing around in the kitchen.

Margie is a very kind, sweet and caring woman who provided a clean room and as well as use of the kitchen. I personally did not use the kitchen as I come from a very small town and enjoy eating out at restaurants whenever I get the chance but, I definitely appreciated that use of the kitchen was provided. Although I was a little bit disappointed that the advertisement was a bit misleading but that could have been a fault of my own. I did not read into other reviews and such. I was expected a hotel-like environment but nonetheless, I enjoyed my stay here. Margie has went above and beyond to ensure that my stay in Toronto has been nothing other than great and comforting. I missed my flight the day I was supposed to check out and although Margie did not have to accommodate me whatsoever but, she allowed me to have a late check out without issues. The house, kitchen and room were all very clean. Only thing that I would have changed, is to make it easier to go out for cigarette breaks but that is my own personal preference. I would recommend to anyone as the location is right in downtown Toronto. I stayed for a conference which was less than a 5 minute walk away. I have stayed from Monday right until Thursday evening. Thank you so much Margie! Appreciate you and your kindness. :)

I stayed in the main floor room. Everything was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. I would have 2 nightstands on both sides of the bed instead of the large furniture she has. It would give enough space to get into the bed on either side. The bathroom connected to the bedroom is small but more than convenient as it is connected to the bedroom. I read some reviews where people complain about noise. I didn't hear anything but people walking, what I expect and didn't bother me at all. I loved it and will return at the end of the month. 5 stars.

Well priced, cute looking, and clean. Lovely neighbourhood and easily walkable to dining and shopping. A shame there is just 1 parking space available. Bathroom was incredibly tiny, shower needs to be cleaned of mildew. The big negative for our stay was the noise within the townhouse from other rooms. No soundproofing between walls and floors. Could hear other guests in their rooms and it was both uncomfortable and frustrating. A room on the floor above might have been quieter, but we heard every noise from everyone in the townhouse suites from the our main floor room. Aside from the lack of quiet from inside the place, it was an okay place to stay.
