Stay was good for a family of 6 always fun activities boardwalk and beach. Unfortunately first night my jointed room was dead bolt locked and cldnt have access to the room until next day afternoon front desk was nice enough to apologize but a follow up from management wld be been better

This hotel is due for a full renovation. The New Orleans tower was terrible and I wouldn't let my kids sit on the floor. We moved to the Bourbon Tower and it was a night and day experience. These rooms were clean and renovated. The Easter and Christmas decor was still up in the hotel and it is really dated. The water park and arcade were great for kids. The location was also great.

The Showboat is an outdated hotel. The rooms are outdated and the ice machine on alot of the floors dont work. Also no airconditioning in the hallways and elevator. Some floors have a certain odor to them as well.
