A convenient location, but the hotel is currently undergoing needed renovations. This hotel is popular with school groups, so the atmosphere might be more hectic than people want. I just needed a decent bed at night at a decent price, so it suited my needs.

I stayed her about 8 yrs ago and it was in better condition. The hotel is very run down, the air and heat was turned off to the whole hotel on purpose - there were very few towels, and the continental breakfast was pretty bizarre, you had to have coupons, and someone handed you the pastry or bagel and fruit - weirdest continental breakfast I Have ever seen. Per the manager, we were supposed to get a discount and of course, we did not!

Great location, very kind staff. Good shower. We had a hot day followed by a cold day but the air conditioning was unavailable for the hot day but we could open the wndow for a breeze. Good night and good luck and wicked both next door. All in all. Great place to stay for the price. Will stay again..

Wonderful place to stay …beautiful location…just a min walk to Times Square…u can find food anywhere around here 24/7..staff is superbly friendly…Tenzin and Rose at the counter was amazing…best place to stay when you are in New York …Oh o forgot the hop on hop off bus is just in front of the hotel…it takes you to the whole of New York …highly recommend since im from Malaysia…

They said that they will renovating which is great because the property is in rough shape. Really rough shape. But then staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful.
